WheelMates collectibles are the house’s story OS: Neuro-nodes, Neuro-Cores, Neuro-Memory Cards, scanable objects, plus cosmetic car parts and Journal assembly. This page maps Steam-named sets to the 100% Mates achievement without inventing fake totals. By Firevolt · September 1, 2026. Verified September 2, 2026 · Buy on Steam.
| Family | Steam signal | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Neuro-nodes | Listen to all the Neuro-nodes (~0.8%) | Professor voice guidance / memories |
| Neuro-Cores | Collect all the Neuro-Cores (~0.1%) | Core collectible set (Charge to full capacity!) |
| Neuro-Memory Cards | Collect all the Neuro-Memory Cards (~0.1%) | Audio logs — past arguments / discussions |
| Scanable objects | Find all the scanable objects (~0.1%) | Notes / personal scraps via scan |
| Journal | In-game assembly UI | Aggregates story fragments you find |
| Cosmetics | Parts in the house (+ Supporter Pack) | Colors, wheels, antennas, horns |
| 100% Mates | ~0.1% — all collectibles | Completion umbrella achievement |
WheelMates has no combat loot treadmill. The reward for slowing down is story density: the missing professor’s lab leaks meaning through voice nodes, cores, cards, and scannable clutter.

You can finish the ~6h story path without mopping every set. You cannot earn 100% Mates (“Complete the game 100% and find all the collectibles”) without them.
As of September 2, 2026: Neuro-nodes ~0.8%, mini-games ~0.6%, most collection achievements ≤0.2%. That is not a skill issue—it is ability gates plus skipped scans.
Start with Neuro-nodes; they are the loudest teaching collectible.
Neuro-nodes are professor-linked voice points in the house. Steam tracks Listen to all the Neuro-nodes as its own unlock (~0.8%). Press / secondary writeups sometimes frame RC control as neuro-headset fiction and name the professor (e.g. Bloom)—prefer live in-game strings if they differ.
When you see or hear a node cue, stop both cars. Listening is the achievement verb—driving past mid-sentence risks a miss. If a node sits behind a gate, pin area + required ability.
Nodes feed memory/guidance; Journal assembles fragments more broadly. Do not assume one UI tab equals the Steam achievement—tick Steam names separately when mopping.
Cores and Memory Cards are the quieter sets.
Steam lists two rare collection unlocks: Collect all the Neuro-Cores (tied on the stats page to Charge to full capacity!) and Collect all the Neuro-Memory Cards. Both sit near 0.1% on the capture day.

| Set | Steam text | Practical tip |
|---|---|---|
| Neuro-Cores | Collect all the Neuro-Cores / Charge to full capacity! | Pin glowing core silhouettes behind height/magnet gates |
| Neuro-Memory Cards | Collect all the Neuro-Memory Cards | Treat as audio-log pickups; finish the clip |
| Related misc | Ultra-Fine-tuning (desc TBA on public stats) | May relate to tuning/charge fantasy—confirm in-game |
Public materials describe Memory Cards as audio logs of past discussions and fights. Play them; do not assume pickup alone counts if the UI expects a listen-through.
Until a live counter is verified in your build, this page will not publish a fake “12/12 cores” total. Use Steam achievements as the source of truth for completion.
Scanables are the fourth Steam family.
Steam’s spelling on the achievement is scanable (“Find all the scanable objects”, ~0.1%). In prose we still say scannable when speaking generally—match Steam when tracking unlocks.
Scannable / scanable objects carry notes and personal scraps about the professor and the lab. They deepen the mystery without being combat mods.
Driving the optimal story line with Follow cam and zero curiosity. Idle time on switches is free scan time—especially in Kitchen and Garage clutter.
Car parts (colors, wheels, antennas, horns) scatter through the house; Supporter Pack adds extra skins. Cosmetics help fantasy, but 100% Mates wording points at collectibles broadly—confirm which vanity pieces the live counter includes before you assume a paint job finishes the achievement.
All roads lead to the 100% relationship next.
100% Mates is the umbrella Steam achievement: complete the game 100% and find all the collectibles (~0.1%). It sits above the individual Node/Core/Card/scanable unlocks—not instead of them.
| Likely required family | Steam achievement | ~% | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Neuro-nodes | Listen to all the Neuro-nodes | 0.8% | Highest among rare sets |
| Neuro-Cores | Collect all the Neuro-Cores | 0.1% | Also “Charge to full capacity!” |
| Neuro-Memory Cards | Collect all the Neuro-Memory Cards | 0.1% | Audio logs |
| Scanables | Find all the scanable objects | 0.1% | Steam spelling: scanable |
| Mini-games | Play all the mini-games | 0.6% | Often missed on story rush |
| Levels | Kitchen…Backyard clears | varies | Story spine still required |
| Umbrella | 100% Mates | 0.1% | All collectibles + 100% clear |
You cannot finish sets if Phase Shifter or Paintgun still gates a wing. Run secret sweeps from hidden rooms before blaming a “missing” Core.
Break 50 items, plug into an outlet, and “But where is the water?” may or may not sit inside the 100% counter. Track them on achievements separately until confirmed.
Use the mop-up checklist when you are ready to finish.
Run this mid-guide plan after you own the late toolkit—or as a hybrid after Garage if you hate double clears.
| If this happens | Do this |
|---|---|
| Counter stuck after a full sweep | Diff against Steam list; check TBA misc unlocks |
| Cannot reach a visible Core | Identify missing ability on abilities |
| Lost route context | Skim walkthrough level order |
| Secret path unclear | Use hidden rooms sweep |
| Want achievement tips | Open achievements |
A collectibles tracker tool page may stay a Stage shell—use Steam + Discord pins until a live checklist ships.
Individual set achievements popped, mini-games cleared, and 100% Mates unlocked—or a documented missing piece with an ability name attached.
